I wanted to be able to share my considerable knowledge, experience and skills across different settings and create bespoke programmes to teenagers struggling to engage fully in their education, community or school life  TEAM provides the platform to create a trusting relationship with young people to explore what they can achieve for themselves in the present and future. TEAM champions young people and encourages them to identify their vision for the future and build on it - to look beyond their struggles and see a world where they are successful, valued, safe and fully prepared for what life throws at them. TEAM values are at the heart of what we do; INTEGRITY - the importance of honesty and holding strong morals, DETERMINATION - the importance of having purpose and striving to achieve in spite of obstacles and barriers, ASPIRATION - the importance of being ambitious and working towards achieving personal goals, and having a focus for future success, INCLUSION -  everyone should have the opportunity to access education and support including those isolated or at risk of being so or those students excluded from school because of their behaviour

TEAM's priority in working with a young person is to ensure their safeguarding. We hold current, up to date DBS checks and liability insurance. Any disclosure made by a young person that poses or suggests a risk to their safety or the safety of others, will be passed on confidentially to the appropriate professional. Each session offers an opportunity for the mentee and mentor to reflect on how they feel the mentoring relationship is going. TEAM does not provide clinical mental health support.
